In 2025, the Polari Prize nominated prolific (and self proclaimed) TERF author John Boyne in their long list. In response, judge Nicola Dean resigned and was swiftly followed by a variety of long listed authors withdrawing their books from the prize.
To thank these authors for standing in solidarity with the Trans community, BookWyrm will be spotlighting their books both Online and in the shop. We will aim to have their books in stock, please be aware that there may be some that we are unable to get a hold of.
